Proudly protects 12,000 people living in an area of 8.5 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protects a primarily residential area. Our fire company is 100% volunteer. We also provide water rescue and marine firefighting in the waters surrounding the community.

The Atlantic Steamer Fire Co. No. 1 was organized in 1890. The Company responds to all alarms in the hamlet of Oyster Bay, as well as in the incorporated villages of Cove Neck, Oyster Bay Cove, Laurel Hollow and Mill Neck. We respond together with the Oyster Bay Fire Co. No. 1. We currently have 80 active members who faithfully serve the community. 

We provide the following services: Firefighting, Emergency Medical Services, Haz-Mat, Vehicle Rescue and Extrication, Search and Rescue, Water Rescue, Marine Firefighting and Public Safety Education.
